Activity 2
Creative Thinking Adde Adesokan-Street Photography 1. The characters are strangers the photographer met on the street and got to know quickly and took personality shots of them. 2. The characters are thinking of various things in their day to day life some focused on work, family, or their personal lives. 3. Each one of these photos express different emotions that relate to each person and their personality, some express feelings of focus while others seem happy and at peace. 4. The relationship between the characters is that they all are people found on the street each which their own unique story and background that makes them interesting. The setting ties in because some of the photos include unique cultural elements. 5. In each photo the photographer took three shots of a person that tie into one whole. The photo includes a photo of the person's face, their hands, and their feet. 6. The story is about how each person has a unique story to tell and it all ties together with little elements such as their shoes or the paint on their hands. Each little detail describes a part of each person and adds to their whole story.
activity 3
Creative Thinking Vietnam Vets at the Shrine of Remembrance 1. The photos are showing the story of when the Vietnam veterans visited the memorial of their fallen soldiers on their motorcycles and the honor that they felt. 2. The establishing shot of the memorial at night all lit up shows where they are and the beauty of the memorial at night. The action image portrays the veterans riding up on their motorcycles and tells more about them and where they're from. The portrait shows more about each veteran and who they were, the details on their face and the respect and honor they have. The detail image of the medals tells more about their experience in the war and the honors they received for their service.
Activity 4
Creative Thinking Grandfather Passing Away 1. The story is about a grandson saying goodbye to his grandfather as he earns his wings and passes away. 2. Yes, the photo of the grandfather standing out the window wasn't completely necessary to the whole story. 3. I would remove the photo of the grandfather standing out the window. 4. I chose this photo because I love what it represented, a peaceful goodbye to a lost loved one and how even though the grandfather is dying is he gaining his wings.

REVIEW
1. What was your idea for this story? My idea for this story was a nostalgic high school senior going to all of her favorite places in the school and looking back at the memories she has made here, it's a bittersweet feeling and she is both happy and sad. 2. Did your editor's selected photos match your idea? Explain what is different or the same. Yes my editor's photos match my idea, the photos she selected are very nostalgic and I like the way she edited them because she created a darker look that adds to the nostalgia, mine were a bit brighter and more colorful but I like what she did with them it adds to the story. 3. How did the editor enhance your photos in photoshop? She decreased the brightness, increased the contrast, and decreased the saturation. 4. Do you like the enhancements? Yes I really like the enhancements. I think that they add a lot to the story and the darker hues create a more sad effect and show the different aspects of nostalgia. 5. How do you feel about having an editor make decisions about choosing and enhancing your photographs? I think that it's a fun change from editing photos in my particular style and it forced me to see different ways of editing and see how it can tell a story differently. 6. Publish and label the 3 photographs YOU would have selected for your story. 7. Explain why you chose these photographs to communicate you story. I chose these photographs to communicate my story because I felt that they best portrayed the bittersweet emotions she was feeling as a nostalgic senior opens her locker for the last time or sits in the lunch room for the last time and reflects on all the memories she has made.
